TOUR 1 – OVERNIGHT AGRA

 

 

Visit Agra, known worldwide as the home of the Taj Mahal. Agra was the seat of the Imperial Mughal court during the 16th and 17th centuries, before the capital was shifted to Delhi. Agra flourished under the patronage of the Mughal emperors as a centre of art, with each ruler creating a new school and form, and architecture – that borrowed inspiration from Persian, Islamic, Turkish, Byzantine and Indian styles.

 

 

TOUR 2 – GOLDEN TRIANGLE

 

 

The tour takes you to Agra, globally known as the city of Taj Mahal, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. This is followed by Jaipur, the main gateway to the splendor and magic of Rajasthan with its labyrinth of fascinating bazaars, opulent palaces and historic sights. It is the first planned city of North India, which today is a unique synthesis of the traditional and modern. Providing a stunning backdrop to the Pink City are the ancient forts and palaces, which paint a dramatic picture of a bygone era.

 

 

TOUR 3 – LAND OF THE MAHARAJAS

 

 

The tour begins with Agra and the enchanting Taj Mahal, considered the pinnacle of Mughal art in India. There are few words that can describe the magnificence of this monument. Continue to Jaipur for its colorful bazaars and opulent palaces. This is followed by Jodhpur epitomizing all the romance and feudal splendor of Rajasthan with the majestic Mehrangarh Fort towering over it. Perhaps the most majestic of Rajasthan’s forts, described by Rudyard Kipling as “the creation of angels, fairies and giants”

 

 

TOUR 4 – GOLDEN TRIANGLE WITH UDAIPUR

 

 

Begin your journey with Agra and the Taj Mahal, the jewel of Muslim art in India. Poets have romanticised it….visitors have been held spellbound by the charm of this delicate vision in white marble. This would be followed by Jaipur with its colorful bazaars. Providing a stunning backdrop to the Pink City are the ancient forts and palaces, which paint a dramatic picture of a bygone era. And finally the fairytale city of Udaipur with its marble palaces and lakes, surrounded by a ring of hills and dominated by the massive City Palace, which overlooks Lake Pichola with its romantic island palaces.

 

 

TOUR 5 – KERALA, GOD’S OWN COUNTRY

 

 

Kerala - this tiny state in the south-western tip of India is blessed with unique geographical and cultural features. This, as they famously say, is God’s own country. Whether you choose to float gently on a houseboat along the various canals and backwaters, walk around spice plantations, or stay at one of the several resorts that offer traditional methods of wellness in luxurious comfort.
Visit Cochin, an obscure fishing village that became the first European township in India. The result of colonial influences is seen in the many examples of Indo European architecture that still exist here. This would be followed by Kumarakom, an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals.

 

 

DELHI SIGHTSEEING

 

 

If trees and streets could talk, the stories that would pour out of Delhi would keep listeners mesmerized for years. You can get no better insight into the diversity of India than from its capital—where the old and new, cultural and contemporary, rural and urban, all blend harmoniously. While Old Delhi is a maze of narrow serpentine lanes lined with shops, the new city is a bustling metropolis, replete with shopping malls, and wide-open spaces.
